CEO

Rob joined us as CEO in April 2024. Former Chief Scientific Advisor for Wales, he led the Welsh Government scientific and technical response to Covid-19. He was recently recognised in the New Year Honours list 2024, receiving an OBE for services to health sciences and evidence in health policy.

Clinical Director

Prof. Jared Torkington provides clinical leadership to our portfolio of grant investments and projects. He is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and the current President of The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.

Wendy is responsible for the oversight of our portfolio of investments, our communications strategy & supports the CEO with activity across the organisation.
