Overview
Upper gastrointestinal cancers, namely oesophageal and gastric cancer have some of the poorest survival outcomes in Wales. We are interested in projects with the potential to contribute meaningful improvements to survival outcomes, with particular focus on accelerating progress towards earlier diagnosis, less-invasive diagnostic and treatment technologies, and workforce innovations. We are pleased to have started work in this area through the Transnasal Endoscopy project.
