Where is the awards celebration taking place?

Depot Cardiff, Williams Way, Curran Embankment, Cardiff, CF10 5DY.

There is a free carpark next to the venue.

Where is the nearest train station?

The closest train station is Cardiff Central. If you leave from the rear entrance, it is approximately a 7-minute walk to the venue.

What time does the event start?

All guests are asked to arrive from 6pm. Food and drinks will be served from 6pm and the awards ceremony will start around 8pm.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the awards celebration is casual. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Depot is an informal venue, ideal for socialising, so there no need to dust off your suit or cocktail dress.

Is there a table plan?

There will be no formal seating arrangements at the awards. Guests will be able to socialise freely with others and choose where they would like to sit. Seating will be bench-style with long tables.

Does the venue accept card or cash?

Depot is a card-only venue.

What time does the event finish?

The bar will close at midnight and Depot will close at 12.30am.

Will tickets be issued?

This is an invitation only event; no tickets will be issued. If you have RSVP’d, your name will be on a guest list on the door. If you are attending and would like to request additional spaces, please contact us at awards@moondance-cancer.wales


There will be no Covid restrictions in place on the night, but this might change with government guidelines. Depot is a large warehouse venue that is airy and well ventilated. However, please feel free to wear a mask if you wish.

What food will be served?

Food will be provided on the evening by local street food vendors, offering guests a range of different flavours and cuisines. On arrival you will be given complimentary food and (2) drink tokens for use at the bar and at the food vendors. There will be no table service.

Helping us celebrate on the evening will be:

  • Ffwrnes - Recently featured on BBC series ‘Pizza Boys’, Ffwrnes was established in 2014 combining traditional Italian know how and the best produce Wales has to offer.
  • Dirty Bird - Founded in 2014, Dirty Bird, claim to make the best fried chicken you will ever taste.
  • The Greedy Bear - Greedy Bear is the brain child of David and Caroline and named after David’s Labrador Retriever, Bear! They have combined their extensive background in hospitality and catering to bring a taste of Pan Asia to South Wales.
  • Daisy and Belle - Ice cream hand made in Cardiff, using Welsh double cream!
